Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,
Psalm 33:18
Why can we trust God? Trust is the assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something 1. As Christians, the Bible in many verses calls us to trust in God, to have faith in Him, and that without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 2 This is such a strong call and we must heed to it. However, sometimes it’s easier said than done. Life’s challenges can make us doubt God’s love for us 3 hence we can be faced with fear and anxiety. This is not God’s will for us.
God knows the end from the beginning. He is omniscient and knows His perfect will for us. The Bible tells us in the book of Romans 12:2 not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. His perfect will for us is for our own good and for His glory. We can trust that.

Here are some reasons why we can trust in God.
1: His Word is true
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. (John 17:17)
2. His plans are set for us
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
3. His faithfulness is forever
And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, (Exodus 34:6)
4. His justice is perfect
As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, In judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress. (Job 37:23)
5. His love is unfailing
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)
6. All Things Are Possible With Him
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
God knows what’s best for us. He says that “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9). Have faith that He is able to do what He has promised.
